Definitions.

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,-

1. (a) 'appointed date' means the date specified under sub-section (3) of section 1;
2. (b) 'forest produce' means such forest produce as may, from time to time, be specified by the Government by notification for the purposes of this Act;
3. (c) 'Government' means the State Government of 1Telangana;
4. (d) 'notification' means a notification published in the 1Telangana Gazette, and the word notified shall be construed accordingly;
5. (e) 'prescribed' means prescribed by rules made under this Act.
