Estate Officer

The Estate Officer shall be responsible for execution of civil works and maintenance of the Buildings, all civic amenities, roads fencing, play grounds, parks and lands of the University other than the land comprising the horticultural and other farms and such other functions as may be prescribed. (3) The Officers of the University as referred to in sub-section (1) shall be whole time officers and shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the organization and implementation of the programmes concerning to them.

(4) No officer shall accept any remuneration from any source other than the remuneration to which he is entitled under the Statutes.

(5) Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Officers of the University referred to in clauses (iii) to (xi) of section 24 shall perform such other duties as may be prescribed or as may be assigned to them, from time to time, by the Board or the Vice-Chancellor.
