Order of preference in leasing out the surplus lands

In leasing out the lands where management is assumed under section 51 or section 53-C, preference shall be given in the following order,-

Co-operative Farming Societies, agricultural workers working on the said lands, landholders or tenants who cultivate personally less than a family holding, and other landless persons residing in the village.
