Articles exempted from distraint.

1[14-A. Articles exempted from distraint.- The following articles shall not be distrained for arrears of revenue:-

1. (a) the necessary wearing apparel, cooking vessels, beds and bedding of the defaulter and such personal ornaments of a woman as in accordance with religious usage cannot be parted with by her;
2. (b) his ploughs, implements of husbandry, one pair of ploughing cattle, such manure and seed grain stocked by the defaulter or on his behalf by his cultivator as may be necessary for the due cultivation of his lands in the ensuing year; and
3. (c) any other class of articles which may be notified by the Government in the 2Telangana Gazette.]
