The Telangana Private Aided Educational Institutions Employees (Regulation of Pay) Act, 2005
This Act regulates how pay, career advancement schemes, and pensions are calculated for staff working in private aided educational institutions in Telangana. Retrospectively effective from 1980, it specifies that an employee can only count their service period starting from the official approval date of their appointment to an aided post for financial and pensionary benefits. Any service rendered or pay increments earned prior to receiving government grant-in-aid approval are excluded from these calculations. Consequently, all previous legal claims or court directions seeking to count unaided service are invalidated, ensuring uniform pay rules while protecting past payments from being recovered by the government.
