Cattle Trespass Act, 1871 to apply.

The Government may, by notification, direct that in lieu of the fines fixed by section 12 of the Act referred to in sub-section (1), there shall be levied, in all or any of the areas to which this Act applies, for each goat or kid impounded under sub-section (1), such fine not exceeding rupees five as they think fit.
