Definitions.

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,-

1. (a) 1["Commissioner of Land Revenue"] means the 1[Commissioner of Land Revenue] for Telangana;
2. (b) "Government" means the State Government;
3. (c) "notification" means a notification published in the 2Telangana Gazette and the expression notify or notified shall be construed accordingly;
4. (d) "prescribed" means prescribed by rules made under this Act;
5. (e) "revenue division, 3[mandal] and village" means respectively any area which is notified as a revenue division, 3[mandal] or village under this Act.
