Definitions.

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,-

1. (a) 'Co-operative Societies Act' means the 1Telangana Co-operative Societies Act, 1964;
2. (b) 'Co-operative Spinning Mills' means a Co-operative Spinning Mill registered or deemed to be registered under the 1Telangana Co-operative Societies Act, 1964;
3. (c) 'Government' means the State Government of 2Telangana;
4. (d) 'notification' means a notification published in the 2Telangana Gazette; and the word ‘notified’ shall be construed accordingly;
5. (e) 'Relief Undertakings Act' means the 3Telangana Relief Undertakings (Special Provisions) Act, 1971;
6. (f) 'Schedule' means a Schedule appended to this Act;
7. (g) 'State Federation of Co-operative Spinning Mills' means the Telangana State Federation of Co-operative Spinning Mills registered or deemed to be registered under Co-operative Societies Act;
8. (h) all words and expressions used in this Act and not defined but defined in the 1Telangana Co-operative Societies Act, 1964, shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in that Act.
