This Act regulates cinemas in Telangana. No film can be exhibited except in a licensed place, and the licensing authority grants licences subject to Government directions. There is a right of appeal and review. The Government or District Collector can suspend exhibitions, licences can be revoked or suspended, and black-marketing of cinema tickets is punishable.
