Power to write-off irrecoverable amounts.

A market committee may, subject to such restrictions and control as may be prescribed, write off any amount due to it, if in its opinion such amount is irrecoverable: Provided that the market committee shall obtain the previous sanction of the Government for writing off any such amount where it exceeds one hundred rupees.
