(1) This Act may be called the Telangana Agricultural Holdings (Census) Act, 1957. (2) It extends to the territories of the State of Telangana which, immediately before the 1st November 1956, were comprised in the State of Andhra. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 21st September, 1957.
