Amendment of section 10

In section 10 of the Tirunelveli city Municipal Corporation Act, 1994,-

1. (1) in sub-section (2), for the expression "within a period of six months from the date of the commencement of the Tamil Nadu Municipal Corporation Laws (Amendment and Special Provision) Act, 1994", the expression " on or before the 31st day of December 1995" shall be substituted ;
2. (2) in sub-section (5), for the words "only for six months from the date of this Act", the expression "up to the 31st day of December 1995 shall be substituted."
