Lapse of permission if not acted upon within three months and completed within one year. 293.

1. (1) If the construction or re-construction of any hut is not commenced within three months after the date on which permission was given to execute the work, the work shall not be commenced until an application has been made for the renewal of permission granted under this Chapter and the provisions of sections 288 to 292 shall, so far as may be, apply to such application for renewal of permission.
2. (2) If the construction or re-construction of the hut is not completed within such period (not exceeding one year from the date on which permission was given for the construction or re-construction as may be specified in this behalf) it shall not be continued thereafter until application has been made for the renewal of permission granted under this Chapter; and the provisions of sections 288 to 292 shall, so far as may be, apply to such application for renewal of permission.
