The Holdings (Stay of Execution Proceedings) (Tamil Nadu Amendment) Act, 1957

1. (1) This Act may be called the Holdings (Stay of Execution Proceedings) (Tamil Nadu Amendment) Act, 1975.
2. (2) It extends to the whole of the Kanyakumari district.
3. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 17th September 1975.

In section 4 of the Holdings (Stay of Execution Proceedings) Act, 1950 (Travancore-Cochin Act VIII of 1950), for the words "twenty-five years and six months", the words "twenty-seven years and six months" shall be substituted.

In section 4 of the Holdings (Stay of Execution Proceedings) Act, 1950 (Travancore-Cochin Act VIII of 1950), for the words "nine years and six months", the words "eleven years and six months" shall be substituted.
