Definitions

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,— Definitions.

1. (a) “appointed day” means the date on which this Act comes into force;
2. (b) “college” means Chikkaiah Naicker College, Erode affiliated to Bharathiar University with land and buildings as specified in the Schedule;
3. (c) “Commissioner” means the Commissioner appointed under section 6;
4. (d) “Government” means the State Government;
5. (e) “person interested” includes all persons claiming or entitled to claim an interest in compensation to be made
