Lapse of licence

Every licence granted under section 8 shall be valid for a period of one year from the date on which it is granted and if the erection or re-erection of the building or the user of agricultural land for non-agricultural purpose, or the engineering, mining or other operation for which the licence is granted, is not commenced within the said period, it shall not be commenced thereafter unless the nuclear installation local authority on application made therefor has extended the period.
