Statutory text
Chairman and members to be public servants.-The Chairman and the members shall, when acting or purporting to act in pursuance of the provisions of this Act or the rules made thereunder, be deemed to be public servants within the meaning of section 21 of the Indian Penal Code (Central Act XLV of 1860).
