Power to seize

Power to seize.- It shall be lawful for any police officer not below the rank of Inspector to seize any publicity material—

1. (1) and to produce the same to the Magistrate having jurisdiction and if the publicity material is such that it cannot be conveniently transported to the Court, he may give custody thereof to any person on his executing a personal bond and undertaking to produce the said publicity material before the Court as and when required and to the Magistrate as to the taking of such bond.
