Power to declare that ferries not being public ferries be subject to rules for safety of passengers

(1) The State Government may, by notification in the Fort St. George Gazette, declare that any ferry, not being a public ferry, shall be subject to any rules made by them under this section for the purpose of securing the safety of passengers conveyed across the ferry.
