Pro-Chancellor

(1) The Sponsor shall appoint two Pro-Chancellors of the University namely Pro-Chancellor (Administration) and Pro-Chancellor (Academic)

(2) The Pro-Chancellor so appointed shall hold office for a period of 5 (five) years.

(3) The Pro-Chancellor shall preside at the meeting of the Board of Governors when the Chancellor is not present and shall, when the Visitor or Chancellor is not present, preside at the convocation of the University for conferring degrees, diplomas, Charters, Designations or Certificate.

(4) The Pro-Chancellor (Administration) shall have the following powers, namely;

(a) to cal/ for any information related to the entire administration of the University;

(b) such other powers as may be conferred on him by this Act or the Statutes made there under.

(5) The Pro-Chancellor (Academic) shall have the following powers, namely:-

(a) to call for any information related to the entire Academic including research proceedings of the University;

(b) such other powers as be conferred on him by this Act or the Statutes made there under.

(6) The Sponsor is empowered to remove the Pro-Chancel/or.
