The Land Acquisition (Sikkim) Amendment Act, 1992

This Act may be called the Land Acquisition (Sikkim) Amendment Act, 1992.

In section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act), in sub-section (1), the word "daily" shall be, omitted. Any notification published under sub-section (1) of section 4 and any declaration published under sub-section (2) of section 6 of the Principal Act before the commencement of this Act, shall be deemed to have been published in accordance with the provisions oi this Act as if this Act was in force on the date of such publication.

In section 6 of the Principal Act, in sub-section (2), the word " daily" shall be omitted.
