Powers of Courts

(1) The powers conferred on Courts by this Act shall be exercised only by a Court of Magistrate of the 1st Class or any other Court exercising criminal jurisdiction in the State of Sikkim. (2) The powers may be exercised by such Courts whether they are trying the case originally or on appeal or revision.
