Composition of the Zilla Panchayat.

(1) A Zilla Panchayat shall, subject to the provisions of sub-section (4), consist of the following members, namely:- (a) directly elected members from the territorial constituencies in the district; (b) Sabhapatis of the Gram Panchayats within the district; (c) Members of both the Houses of Parliament and the Legislative Assembly of the State elected from a constituency comprising the district or any part thereof.
