Destruction of fish by poisoning and punishment therefore.

If any person puts any poison, lime or noxious-materials into any water with intent thereby to catch or destroy any fish which may be therein, he shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees or with both.
