The Rajasthan Universities Teachers And Officers (Selection For Appointment) (Amendment) Act, 2019
1. 1. Short title and commencement.-
(1) This Act may be called the Rajasthan Universities' Teachers and Officers (Selection for Appointment) (Amendment) Act, 2019. (2) It shall come into force at once.
2. 2. Amendment in sections 2, Rajasthan Act No. 18 of 1974.-
The existing clauses (i) and (vii-a) of sub-section (1) of section 2 of the Rajasthan Universities' Teachers and Officers (Selection for Appointment) Act, 1974 (Act No. 18 of 1974), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act, shall be deleted.
3. 3. Amendment in section 10, Rajasthan Act No. 18 of 1974.-
For the existing section 10 of the principal Act, the following shall be substituted, namely:- "10. Reservation of appointments and posts.- Notwithstanding anything contained in the relevant law, reservation of appointments and posts in the University shall be such as may be specified by or under any law, for the time being in force, relating to reservation of appointments and posts in the services under the State."
4. 4. Deletion of sections 10-A and 10-B, Rajasthan Act No. 18 of 1974.-
The existing sections 10-A and 10-B of the principal Act shall be deleted.
