Objects of University

The University shall be deemed to have been established and incorporated for the purpose, among others, of- (i) to develop the University into a national centre of teaching, training and research in the field of Journalism and Mass Communication and allied fields, including Applied Information Technology; (ii) to disseminate and advance knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities in the field of Journalism and Mass Communication and applied fields, including Applied Information Technology; and (iii) to develop professionals with excellence.

1. (i) to develop the University into a national centre of teaching, training and research in the field of Journalism and Mass Communication and allied fields, including Applied Information Technology;
2. (ii) to disseminate and advance knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities in the field of Journalism and Mass Communication and applied fields, including Applied Information Technology; and
