2. Amendment of section 293, Central Act No. 2 of 1974.-

In clause (g) of sub-section (4) of section 293 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act No. 2 of 1974), in its application to the State of Rajasthan, after the existing expression "the Central Government" and before the existing expression, "for this purpose.", the expression "or the State Government" shall be inserted.
