The Rajasthan Noises Control Act, 1963 regulates noise pollution across the State of Rajasthan to protect citizens from public annoyance and health disturbances. It empowers local authorities to declare and prohibit nocturnal noise, restrict loudspeaker use near sensitive zone such as hospitals, schools, hostels, courts, and government offices, and ban sound amplifiers between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. without written permission.
