This Act validates all declarations, functions, taxes and other actions performed by the Amber Notified Area Committee before its commencement. It declares that the committee's declared area shall be valid under section 313 of the principal Act, and all functions, taxes, fines and other activities undertaken by the chairman, office-bearers and employees between 3-4-1980 and 5th August, 1987 shall be deemed legally valid and unchallengeable in any court or authority. The Act also repeals an ordinance enacted in 1987 but preserves all its provisions as if they had been enacted under this Act.
