Chapter I PRELIMINARY
Statutory text
- (1) If a the market committee fails to make in respect of the market area under its management, the necessary bye-laws under section 37 within a period of 6 months from the date of its constitution, the Director may make such bye-laws and may also provide punishment for the contravention thereof in accordance with sub-section (2) of section 37.
- (2) Such bye-laws shall remain in force until superseded by fresh bye-laws made by the market committee under section 37.
