Power to summon witnesses and to take evldence

The Trustee Committee and the Bar Council shall, for the purposes of any enquiry under this Act, have the same powers as are vested in a civil court while trying a suit tinder the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (Central Act V of 1908) in respect of the following matters, namely:

1. (a) enforcing the attendance of any person or examining him on oath;br
2. (b) requiring the discovery and production of documents;br
3. (c) receiving evidence on oath by affidavit;br
4. (d) issuing commissions for the examination of witnesses.br
