Short title and commencement.

(1) This Act may be called the Maharaja Bhupinder Singh Punjab Sports University Act, 2019. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Punjab. (3) It shall come into force on and with effect from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette: Provided that the Government may, by notification, appoint different dates for giving effect to different provisions of this Act.
