Other powers of the Custodian.-(1) The Custodian may, if it appears to him to be necessary to do so to secure compliance with this Act or otherwise to carry into effect the objects of this Act-

1. (a) inspect or cause to be inspected any books of account or other document; and
2. (b) enter and search or authorise any person to enter and search any premises;

1. (2) Whoever obstructs the Custodian or any person acting under his direction in the exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section
2. (1) shall be punishable with imprisonment which may extend to six months or with fine or with both.
