Statutory text
An offence punishable under this Act shall be tried in the court of Judicial Magistrate in accordance with the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973: Provided that no court shall take cognizance of any offence punishable under this Act, except upon a complaint in writing made by any officer of the Government authorized by the Government.
