Short title, extent and commencement

1. (1) This act may be called the Punjab Safety Measures for Prevention and Control of Fire Act, 2012.

1. (2) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Punjab.
2. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on and with effect from the 2nd day of November, 2012.
