Definitions

In these rules, unless the context otherwise requires,— (3) ‘Service’ means the Punjab Revenue Patwaris (Class III) Service; (4) ‘Board’ means the Subordinate Services Selection Board Punjab; (6) ‘Government’ means the Government of the State of Punjab in the Department of Revenue; (7) ‘Revenue Patwari’ means a Patwari referred to in the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887 and includes an Assistant Patwari, and shall include such other Patwaris who are appointed to the post of Patwari under these rules;
