Apportionment of Compensation

Where in pursuance of the requirement of section 8 of the Punjab Jagirs Act, 1951, the successor to a jagir has made suitable provision out of the jagir for the maintenance of the widow or widows and other members of the family of the last or any previous holder of the jagir, the Collector, Commissioner or Financial Commissioner as the case may be, shall while passing an order under sub-section (3) or sub-section (5), of section 6, apportion the amount of compensation for payment among the jagirdar and such widow or widows and other members of the family.
