Power to summon witnesses and take evidence

12. The Regulatory Body shall, for the purpose of any enquiry under this Act, have the same powers as are vested in a civil court while trying a suit under the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 in respect of the following matters, namely:-

1. (a) enforcing the attendance of any person or examining him on oath;
2. (b) requiring the discovery and production of documents;
3. (c) receiving evidence on oath by way of affidavits; and
4. (d) issuing commission for the examination of witnesses.
