The Punjab Municipal (Tax Validating) Act, 1956

This Act may be called the Punjab Municipal (Tax Validating) Act, 1956.

Notwithstanding anything contained in the Punjab Municipal Act, 1911, and any judgment, decree or order of Civil Court, the taxes imposed by the Municipal Committees specified in each case in the second column of the Schedule shall be deemed to have been legally imposed with effect from the date so specified in the third column of the Schedule and shall remain in force until repealed or altered by a competent authority.
