The Punjab Ministers and Deputy Minister's Salaries and Allowances (Validation) Act, 1965

This Act may be called the Punjab Ministers and Deputy Ministers’ Salaries and Allowances (Validation) Act, 1965.

Notwithstanding anything contained in any judgment, decree or order of any court, the salaries and allowances paid or purported to be paid to the Deputy Ministers of the State of Punjab before the commencement of this Act shall be deemed to have been validly paid as if the provisions of the Punjab Ministers and Deputy Ministers (Salaries and Allowances) Act, 1956, had at all material times been in force in relation to such Deputy Ministers and accordingly any action taken or thing done in the matter of making such payments shall not be called in question in any court of law on the ground that such payments were not authorised by law.

The Punjab Ministers and Deputy Ministers’ Salaries and Allowances (Validation) Ordinance, 1965 (Punjab Ordinance No. 1 of 1965), is hereby repealed.
