(1) This Act may be called 1 [The Punjab Riverain Boundaries Act, 1899.
(2) It extends to the whole of 1 [Haryana]; and
(3) It shall come into force at once 2 [in the principal territories and on the 24th July, 1957, in the transferred territories].
