Repeal and savings

(1) The Cotton Ginning and Pressing Factories Act, 1925 (Act XII of 1925), in its application to Punjab is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding the said repeal, anything done and any action taken in exercise of any power conferred by or under the said Act shall unless inconsistent with this Act, be deemed to have been made, done or taken in exercise of the powers conferred by or under this Act.
