Chapter I PRELIMINARY
Statutory text
- (1) Except as provided in section 7 of this Act, the Punjab Tenancy Act, 1887, shall not be applicable to tenancies held under this Act.
- (2) Nothing in sub-section
- (1) of this section shall affect the application of the Punjab Tenancy Act, 1887, to any matter or dispute arising between [tenants of the [Government]] and their subtenants to which [Government] is not a party.
