Repeals and savings

The corresponding provisions of any law in force in the Union territory of Puducherry or in any area thereof relating to matters covered by this Act shall be deemed to have been repealed with effect from the date on which this Act comes into force, except as respects things done or omitted to be done thereunder before such repeal.
