Statutory text

(1) This Act may be called the Karaikal Pannaiyal Protection Act, 1966.
(2) It shall extend to the area known as Karaikal in the he Union territory of Puducherry.
(3) It shall come into force on 1 such date as the Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
