Short title, extent and commenceme4t

1. (1) This Act may be called the Indian Ports (Pondicherry Amendment) Act, 1969. (2) It shall extend to the whole of the Unlion ter~itory of Pondicherry. l(3) It shall come into force on such date as the Govan- ment may, by notification il the Off~cial Gazette, appoint.
