Definitions

In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires- (a) "Chief Executive Officer" means the Chief Executive Officer of the Council ; (b) "Council" means the Western Orissa Development Council established under this Act. (c) "Council area" means the area of the Council as mentioned in sub-section (1) of section 3 ; (d) "Government" means the State Government of Orissa ; (e) "Prescribed" means prescribed by rules ; (f) "Council Fund" means the Council Fund established under section 15 ; (g) "Rules" means rules made under this Act.
