ACT NO. 10 OF 1957 Revised assent of the President on the 11th April 1957, first published in an
extraordinary issue of the Orissa Gazette, dated the 22nd April 1957.
PREAMBLE AN ACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE IMPROVEMENT, DEVELOPMENT AND EXPANSION OF TOWNS IN THE STATE OF ORISSA Whereas it is expedient to make provisions for the development, improvement and expansion of towns in the State of Orissa so as to secure to their present and future inhabitants sanitary conditions, amenity and convenience; It is hereby enacted by the Legislature of the State of Orissa in the Seventh Year of the Republic of India, as follows:
