3. Constitution of the Board:-

(1) The Government shall constitute a Board called the Board of Secondary Education to regulate, control and develop of Secondery Education in the State of Orissa. (2) The Board shall be a body corporate with perpetual succession and a common seal with power to acquire and hold property both movable and immoveable and subject to the provisions of this Act to transfer any property held by it and to contract and do all other things necessary for the purpose of its constitution and may sue or be sued in its corporate name.
