[Received the assent of the Governor on the 12th March 1986, first published in an extraordinary issue of. the Orissa Gazette dated the 12th March 1986] ANACT TO PROVIDE FOR THE REQUISITIONING OF GOODS VEHICLES PLYING UNDER PUBLIC CARRIERS PERMIT FOR SECURING BETTERAND MORE CO-ORDINATED GOODS TRANSPORT SERVICE INTHE STATEAND MATTERS CONNECTED THEREWITH

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Slate of Orissa in the Thirty-seventh Year of the Republic of India, as follows:"

Short title, extent and Commencement.:-

1. (1) ThisAct may be called the Orissa Requisitioning of Goods Vehicles Act, 1986.

1. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Orissa.
2. (3) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 27th day of Nove mber, 1985. Definitions Power to requisition goods vehicles
